Arbit Cyber Defence Systems announces the recertification of the Arbit Data Diode to Common Criteria EAL7+

Arbit Cyber Defence Systems has successfully completed a full recertification process of its Data Diode reaffirming the highest cyber security certification level worldwide under Common Criteria (CC): EAL7+.

The evaluation was conducted by TÜViT (TÜV Informationstechnik GmbH) and officially approved by the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI).

Trust is the foundation of everything we do. As Arbit Founder and CEO Rasmus Borch states:

“We trust our clients, and our clients should be able to trust their vendor.
International certifications ensure that our solutions undergo rigorous evaluation by independent authorities, providing a higher level of trust and transparency beyond internal assurances. In defence and security organisations, critical and unbiased validation of products is essential.”

Strengthening European sovereignty in cyber security

At a time when Europe is intensifying its focus on technological independence and supply chain control, this recertification reinforces Arbit’s position as a key European manufacturer delivering sovereign, high-assurance cyber security technology. In a time where European countries face daily cyberattacks.

The Common Criteria EAL7+ certification applies to the evaluated hardware platform and confirms that the security functions and development processes have been independently evaluated under the Common Criteria framework.

The Arbit Data Diode architecture provides:
  • One-way data transfer with no covert channels
  • Galvanic and secure separation between networks of different classifications
  • Controlled development and production processes
  • Hardware-enforced protection mechanisms

All hardware is tested during production and assembled in Denmark, while software is developed and maintained in controlled facilities at Arbit’s headquarters.

This ensures compliance with the labels:
  • Cyber Security Made in Europe (ECSO)
